In Oakhurst, take Hwy. 41 North toward Yosemite just 3.5 miles to the Bass Lake turnoff (Road 222) and turn right. From Los Angeles -- Take Hwy. 5 North to Bakersfield. In Bakersfield, take Hwy. 99 North to Fresno. In Fresno, take Hwy. 41 North (toward Yosemite). From the Bay Area -- Take Hwy. 580 East to the 5 South to the 132 East to Modesto. In Modesto, take 99 South to Merced. From Merced, take 140 East to Mariposa. In Mariposa, take 49 South (sharp right turn from Hwy 140) to traffic signal at Hwy. 41 in Oakhurst. Turn left onto Hwy. 41 (toward Yosemite) and follow the highway just 3.5 miles to the Bass Lake turnoff. (Road 222).
