The Pines Resort & Ducey's on Bass Lake

"Just wanted to let you and all the staff at the Pines Resort know that Hillary and Joel's wedding was a tremendous hit! I have heard nothing but praise about the wedding. Most are saying that they had never had more fun at a wedding!

To make a long story short, for the two years of planning this wedding, my husband moaned and groaned about having the wedding so far from Sacramento. We heard - "No one is going to come to the wedding, it's too far," "You can't expect all our friends from the State of Washington to go all that way for a wedding."

Well, almost everyone we invited did attend and they all made a vacation of it! It was a huge success. To tell you the truth, besides the bride and groom, I think my husband had the best time of all! He now thinks his daughter's wedding was the best wedding ever!

The staff at the Pines are absolutely wonderful! They are courteous and very attentive. The food served at the wedding far exceeded our expectations. It was delicious and abundant! By the way, you were right about the asparagus soup. Everyone raved about it! It was delicious!

"I wanted to take time to write and let you know how pleased we were with the Pines' services for our daughter's wedding. We are so glad we decided to have the wedding and reception at beautiful Bass Lake. We heard nothing but positive comments from our guests.

The groom's aunt and uncle were ecstatic when they found their favorite jazz band playing Friday night and spent the evening enjoying the music and even had a chance to chat with some band members. Other friends made the comment that they were so glad we had the wedding at such a beautiful and "fun" resort. There was something for everyone. Our family with small children especially enjoyed the spacious chalets and the swimming pool.

As far as the service at the reception, it was great. The food was good and the staff was friendly and helpful. The setting was lovely. I knew the backdrop through the windows was spectacular, but I didn't realize just how breathtaking it was until we got our photographs back from the photographer.

The groom's father was very impressed with the meals and atmosphere at Ducey's on Friday night. He told me he felt that he received excellent service and was very pleased with the rehearsal meal.

We were completely satisfied with all aspects of The Pines Resort. We had a magical day and everyone who was in attendance agreed. Thank you for your assistance in making this a beautiful and memorable occasion for our children."
