Farm to Table Dining With Bass Lake Views

Perched above Bass Lake, Ducey's on the Lake offers upscale lakeside dining and scratch-made California cuisine. Executive Chef, Johnathan Frabotta, cooks with a farm to table approach using locally grown and organic produce and beef from Harris Ranch. The menu offers steaks, seafood, pastas, seasonal dishes and house-made soups.

From local seafood to Angus steaks, Ducey's on the Lake serves American cuisine in an upscale steakhouse ambiance. Enjoy certified Angus Beef sourced from Harris Ranch, seafood, pastas, salads, and vegetarian dishes. Start with sweet and spicy calamari follow by a filet mignon or the smoked sea salt crusted prime rib. Enjoy dining early, from 4pm - 6pm, with our chef's curated prix fixe Sunset Special Menu for only $25.

Wake up to a hearty breakfast with spectacular views of Bass lake. Our breakfast menu offers a selection of omelets, egg benedicts, French toast, pancakes, waffles and local favorites, like lox & bagels, breakfast burrito and huevos rancheros.

Our Historic Roots

Ducey's on the Lake, the original diner at The Pines Resort, was founded in 1941 when Buddy Freeman built Freeman's Bass Lake Lodge one mile west of the current Ducey's. He sold his bar, restaurant and cabins in 1947; the property again changed hands in 1950, when Maurice and Marie Ducey of Fresno purchased and re-christened it as Ducey's Bass Lake Lodge. For more than 20 years, the couple expanded the lodge and created a gathering place that charmed locals and travelers.

Special Menus

Ducey's offers special events and festive holiday menus, including their famous Traditional Thanksgiving Buffet, Christmas Buffet, New Year's Eve and Valentine's Day Menu. Join us for special events like the Winemaker Dinners and the Beer Tasting, pairing the Chef's food creations with local brew and wine.
