Activities

Set out to explore the surrounding area just beyond the Pines Resort and take in the natural wonders of the Sierra National Forest. Ride the Sugar Pine Railroad, walk among the towering giant Sequoias at the Nelder Grove, or sign up for a Sierra Jeep tour that takes you off the beaten path.

Water Sports

Bass Lake sees hundreds of thousands of visitors each year. While a lot of them treat it as a hub for their Yosemite adventures, nearly a half comes specifically for the Lake and water activities. Bass Lake is classified as a "warm water" lake with its temperature reaching 80 degrees in summer months. There are three, privately owned and operated boat rentals on Bass Lake (one on the north shore and two on the south shore) that offer a great variety of water crafts; from pontoon boats, ski boats, jet skis to kayaks, paddle boards and water tubes.
