  • What are the hours for the swimming pool?

Swimming Pool as well as outdoor Jacuzzi are open from 8am until 10pm daily. Swimming pool is heated from mid-May until mid-September, weather permitting. Jacuzzi is open and heated year-round. All amenities are provided for registered hotel guests only.
  • Do I need to bring my own pool towels?

For the convenience of our guests, in the summer we provide large pool towels by the pool. Please see our pool attendant, if you want to check it out. Towels are to remain in the pool area and cannot be removed. If you need a towel for the beach or out on the boat, please provide your own. Towels are only for registered hotel guests.
  • Does The Pines Resort have Wi-Fi?

We do have a resort-wide high speed wireless internet connection. Each cabin has its own access point to better distribute, heavy at times, usage of the network. And of course, this facility is complimentary for all our guests. Please keep in mind that our remote location does affect the signal strength. This will be especially noticeable on days with higher occupancy (higher device traffic), like on holidays or weekends. Know more about our Resort amenities here .
  • Will my phone work in the mountains?

Phone service has significantly improved at the Resort once the new cell phone tower was installed. It will be spotty higher in the mountains. Verizon users, AT&T and T-mobile usually don't have any problems using their devices. Other networks may have a spotty or no reception.
  • Where do I park?

You will be able to park right outside or nearby your room. Parking is free, however slots are not assigned and offered at first come, first serve basis.
  • Can I bring my boat? Do you have a trailer parking?

Yes, we have a trailer parking on the premises. You are able to park your boat trailer or an RV* there. Spaces are limited, on first come, first serve basis. Trailer parking is located in the upper parking lot, above the post office and adjacent to the administration building. Please make sure to register your trailer and obtain your parking pass. Cost: $10/day for registered hotel guests or $25/day for day-visitors (non-hotel guests). Parking fee is collected by the Pines Resort to offset the cost of the parking maintenance and security. It is separate from boat registration fees or launching fees.

*no RV hookups. It is only to be used as parking. No overnight stays allowed.
